TRANSCRIPTION – SOCIAL MEDIA BASICS FOR BRANDS
OK on my way to a meeting right now. So I just have a quick update this week. My take this week is on social media, and brands engaging on social media and having social media accounts.
I think it’s important that you answer your customers and prospective customers in social media, not only to keep them happy. But also to actually build your brand, it’s a branding feature that you answer them on social media in a good way.
To be honest there are a lot of brands that have huge social media presences with many followers, but they are still just pushing content. They are not driving conversation. So when people are writing them for example “I just received your great product in the mail today etc etc”, they don’t answer.
I don’t think that’s OK for a big or small brand, if you really want to be a successful in the social media space. I think driving the conversation and actually talking to your customers that should be the point with being in social media, it’s not only about pushing content and showing your world perspective as a brand.
