Jack and Elon debated the future of AI in our society and the effects on human-kind at the World AI Conference in Shanghai.
In a nutshell Jack thinks people will have more time as AI will reshape the definition of work and life. The time can be used for arts, leisure etc.
Elon has a more long-term vision, where he thinks AI will be shaping society both negatively and positively. “A cellphone is a sidewalk” he said, and the ultimate interaction with networks and AI will come when the bandwidth goes directly into our brains.
