PIPE WELDER – TULSA AREA

$28+/Hour | Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–1:30 PM

HireCall is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder for a Tulsa-area company. This is a skilled position in a high-performance shop where all welds are 100% X-ray inspected. Candidates must have strong pipe welding experience and be able to consistently produce high-quality work.

Welding Experience & Requirements

• 3–5 years of pipe welding experience required.

• Must be proficient in GTAW (TIG) and GMAW/FCAW (MIG/Flux Core) welding processes.

• Must be able to pass required weld tests:

  • 6G – 2" Schedule 160 – GTAW

  • 1G – 6" Schedule 80 – GMAW/FCAW Combo

  • MIG root with Flux Core fill and cap

• All welding work is subject to 100% X-ray inspection.

• Welders are required to maintain a less than 4% reject rate.

• Must be capable of performing consistently in a high-quality, production-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Read Blueprints: Interpret complex isometric drawings, schematics, and blueprints to plan pipe layouts and fabrication.

• Cut & Shape: Accurately measure, cut, thread, and bend metal and specialized piping materials to exact specifications.

• Fit & Assemble: Fit and connect pipe sections using appropriate welding and joining processes.

• Test Systems: Perform pressure and hydrostatic testing to identify leaks and verify system integrity.

• Inspect & Maintain: Inspect and repair valves, fittings, pipe supports, and related components.

• Follow specifications and quality standards throughout the fabrication and welding process.

• Problem-solve and make adjustments as needed to complete work accurately and efficiently.

Schedule & Pay

Pay: $28+/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
